Butet Wide Stirrup Leathers

These Butet Wide Stirrup Leathers are made of sumptuous soft calfskin. They are made of one piece of leather, which is wider than the classic Butet Stirrup Leathers. This is to provide better support for the rider’s leg and keep the leg even more stable and still. These leathers slip onto the stirrup bar using a loop, rather than having a buckle, minimising any bulk under the leg – and providing an even closer contact. The leathers are therefore adjusted at the bottom of the leather (near the stirrup). This does mean that there is less adjustment than with a traditional leather. These Butet Wide Stirrup Leathers

• Are made of extra soft supple calfskin, in one piece of wide leather.
• The leathers loop on to the stirrup bar, with adjustment at the bottom of the leather
• This avoids any excess bulge under the thigh.
• The calfskin won’t mark your Butet saddle
• Available in Cachou with Cachou or White Stitching or Gold with White Stitching. Black are available to order – please email us
• Standard sizes – XS, S, M. L and XL are also available but to order – please email us
• XS covers stirrup leathers that are 110cm – 130cm
• S covers stirrup leathers that are 120 -140cm
• M covers stirrup leathers that are 130 – 150cm
• Ideally you’d have adjustment in both directions – so if you currently ride in 130cm leathers, we would recommend the S size, if you currently ride in 140cm, we’d recommend the M.

This is a brand new product and stock is on order, so there may be a slight delay on receiving your leathers.

We recommend cleaning these leathers with Butet products to keep them in great condition. Use the Butet Akene Saddle Soap after every use and the Butet Akene Leather Cream once a week.
